CHA was a Fantastic Show for Scraponizer!

February 26th, 2008

OK, we are terrible bloggers.  It’s just because we have been so busy in preparing for CHA, other upcoming shows and advertising launches.  Yes, Yes, we know, just lame excuses.   Forgive us and give us another chance, Please?

A lot has happened, so much to tell.  We are excited and at the same time very exhausted from working to get out all the orders that ScrapOnizer received at CHA and the incoming online orders as well.  We met and made so many more new friends at CHA, from retailers, magazine editors and even other manufacturers who just loved the storage and organizational features of the ScrapOnizer Toolboxes.

If you haven’t noticed yet, there is a photo posted on our home page with the awards that we won at CHA.  YIPPEE!  Two prestigious CHA awards — Best Of Show & Innovations Best of Class for first-time exhibitors. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?  It’s exciting, we are very happy.

We want to introduce to you, a new member of our team.  Mikaela Koncilja is our new VP of Marketing & Sales.  We’ll get her on here to blog soon, because she is the one that took a lot of pictures, so hopefully she will share some pics from the show.  She is a top quality professional and on the personal side -a great and a fun gal.   When Jim gets a break, we’ll get him back on here to chat too.

There were so many retailers who were excited and pre-ordered the new small enclosed snap-lock containers for beads, eyelets, brads and itty-bitty items.  These new containers basically have their own hinged snap-locking lids.  They fit compactly inside the 4 and 8 cavity inner trays, there by they can transform these trays into 16 seperate enclosed containers.  Our goal is to have them available to ship out in about 3-4 weeks.  Don’t worry, we’ll let you know when they are ready to go in a email blast.

I’ll share a little more in a couple of days.  Take care ’til then.

A Hidden Secret

September 27th, 2007

We are back from Vegas & have rested up. WOW! What fun we had! I enjoyed the many great-new retailer friends we made while we were there. Our Memory Trends (MT) show experience went VERY well, the response to our workshop class was well received. THANK YOU, Gals for your enthusiastic interest and support. We really do appreciate you sharing your experience and showing off your ScrapOnizer Card Centers at the show. It brought others who were interested to the ScrapOnizer booth.

BTW, Angie Ringer, was our show winner at the final drawing. Congratulations Angie! We will be sending out your extra case of ScrapOnizers with your order.

Needless to say, the ladies in our class really loved the decorated ScrapOnizer Toolbox sets that we created. All of the workshop participants truly liked the added feature of having a metal sheet mounted on to the holding box tray before it was covered with the paper. By doing this, it gave the holding tray backside a metal memo area to attach magnets.

Class Projects

The attached photo shows two decorated projects, they both have a metal sheet mounted underneath their decorative covers for a magnetic area. (A hidden secret - you wouldn’t of known it, if I didn’t tell ya.) The Black decorated set is actually the one we created at MT. In follow-up to your requests, we’ll put the instructions and patterns for this one on the Featured Project page of the website.

Hopefully we will be offering the green/pink flower card set as a class at CHA. But being that ScrapOnizer will be a new Exhibitor at the 2008 CHA Winter show. We haven’t heard if they have accepted our workshop application yet. Of course, we will keep you posted and let you know as soon as we hear.

We will be offering our original Card Center ‘Right at Your Fingertips’ class this Friday & Saturday at the Fall ScrapBook USA Expo in Sandy. It makes a great gift set to give that serious ‘Card Correspondent’ in your family. Mom, perhaps? Go register at www.scrapbookusaexpo.com

Again it was pleasure meeting you all and I look forward to seeing you again at future shows. Best wishes to your success - Jill Evans

Memory Trends Tradeshow Was a Hoot

September 25th, 2007

Memory Trends in Las Vegas last week was a hoot, I had such a great time meeting you all, you have such a passion for this industry, I learned a lot. I want to thank everyone that was there and that came to see the exciting new products that were at the show, ScrapOnizer certainly was a hit. Everyone loved it.

In the ScrapOnizer “Right At Your Fingertips” Stationery & Card Center class that was taught by Jill D. Evans was very good. We had around 15 people join us for the class to create their very own customized ScrapOnizer set. We even had a few ladies from as far away as Germany. I was very glad to see the energy in the room and the passion for the industry. Thank you to all who attended our class. I know that some of you expressed that you are kicking yourselves for not being in the class, especially after seeing the project and some of the great ideas that we displayed at the booth. Don’t worry; we are trying to do it again at CHA. Please keep checking the class offerings at CHA so we can fill the class and maybe get a second class. That would be great!!!

ScrapOnizer picked up over 70 new retail outlets at the show, I want to thank everyone for all the excitement of our new versatile ScrapOnizer. I was told over and over at the show that “We have a winner,” Thank you.

Keep checking the web site www.scraponizer.com as almost daily we are adding new and exciting pages even though we are still under construction, so please be patient. We are creating a very informative site with new ideas to support all of our customers.

I want to also thank Jill D. Evans for all her help in getting us to where we are today, it is just the beginning. Many of you know Jill, she is great, if you want to get to know her better go to www.jugglercreative.com. Thanks Jill, You’re the best.

Also I want to send a thank you out to Audrey Jeanne Roberts, for your help at the show. Audrey created a customized ScrapOnizer too, she created it with her own custom artwork and designs. You can see it at http://www.daisiecompany.com/blogs/audreyjeanne Thanks, Audrey.

We will be at the Original Scrapbook USA Expo, this weekend on September 28th and 29th in Salt Lake City, Utah. For those of you planning on going, we will look forward to seeing you there.

Until next time, Jim
